In my trip to Bali, I mentioned that me and my girlfriend initially wanted to go to Terrace River Pool Swing but instead went to Aloha Ubud Swing due to our driver’s recommendation.
As we didn’t pre-book before hand, our price is slightly higher. You can actually grab cheaper price at Klook. However, no matter if you purchase the ticket beforehand or not, do take up their photographer service at IDR100k per pax. You can also rent beautiful dresses from them at IDR150k per piece.
As we are the first few customers, we have the privilege of having a personal photographer for the first 2 attractions. The photographers uses Canon DSLR and they are also skillful at using phones especially the ‘panorama’ function.
They can even create ‘reflection’ photos like those Gates of Heaven water reflection photos. However, they didn’t use mirror but instead using the shiny surface of phone covers instead. We tried ourselves and it was not easy to replicate.
After the first 2 attractions, the crowd starts to build up and our ‘personal’ photographer goes back to his station. Each attraction will have a photographer stationed there and all of them are skilled photographers.
During our visit, the flowers are blooming so it’s an added attraction as well.
Once you are done with all the attractions, go to the counter and grab all the softcopy photos from them. Here are some few tips from us:
- Go early. There are 2 reasons for this: It is not so hot and there is no queue for the attractions where the photographers will be more than happy to take a lot of beautiful photos for you
- For ladies, bring your long dresses which looks very nice on videos
- Put on sunscreen
As mentioned, you can purchase your tickets here. If you do not have a Klook account yet, sign up here and you will get RM15 to use.
I highly recommend Aloha Ubud Swing as the prices are reasonable, the staffs are friendly, and they take great photos. You can even consider taking some pre-wedding photos here.
